Summary: The Senior SEO Executive at iakoe will be responsible for leading content-led SEO strategies and execution for multiple client accounts, working closely with the Head of SEO and the delivery team. This fully remote role requires a blend of strategic thinking, operational execution, and client management skills, aimed at optimizing Shopify stores for design-led brands in the US. The ideal candidate will have over five years of SEO experience and a strong proficiency in various SEO tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and support content-led SEO execution across multiple client accounts.
- Analyse Google Search Console data to identify content optimisation opportunities.
- Conduct keyword research and create detailed content briefs for PDPs and collection pages.
- Optimise page titles and meta descriptions based on search intent, CTR, and performance data.
- Create and manage internal linking strategies to improve crawlability, navigation, and content discovery.
- Monitor and analyse content performance, turning insights into actionable recommendations.
- Upload and format content on client websites in line with SEO best practices and brand guidelines.
- Support content-led SEO campaigns with data-driven insights and ongoing optimisation.
- Compile reports with data insights, opportunities, and SEO commentary for monthly client performance reports.
- Review call notes and ensure SEO-related actions are documented and shared where needed.
- Log, prioritise, and track SEO tasks in Teamwork.
- Provide clear SEO status updates across accounts for internal work-in-progress updates.
- Organise SEO-related working files within client Google Drive folders and link to relevant Teamwork projects.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of SEO experience.
- Proven experience using Google Search Console.
- Agency experience is essential, ideally across multiple concurrent clients.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing commentary.
- Extensive experience with Google Sheets.
- High proficiency in SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and Keyword Insights.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

This role is ideal for an experienced SEO who enjoys combining strategy, operations and client management.
What Will You Be Doing?
You’ll be working directly with our Head of SEO and wider delivery team to own and support content-led SEO execution across multiple client accounts, including:
- SEO Strategy and Execution
- Analysing Google Search Console data to identify and propose content optimisation opportunities
- Conducting keyword research and creating detailed content briefs for PDPs and collection pages
- Optimising page titles and meta descriptions based on search intent, CTR, and performance data
- Creating and managing internal linking strategies to improve crawlability, navigation, and content discovery
- Monitoring and analysing content performance, turning insights into clear, actionable recommendations
- Uploading and formatting content on client websites in line with SEO best practices and brand guidelines
- Supporting content-led SEO campaigns with data-driven insights and ongoing optimisation
- Using tools such as Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and Keyword Insights to identify quick-win and longer-term opportunities
Reporting, Communication and Operational Support
- Compiling reports with data insights, opportunities and SEO commentary for monthly client performance reports
- Reviewing call notes (e.g. from Fathom.ai) and helping ensure SEO-related actions are documented and shared where needed
- Ensuring SEO tasks are logged, prioritised, and tracked in Teamwork
- Supporting internal work-in-progress (WIP) updates by providing clear SEO status updates across accounts
- Ensuring SEO-related working files are properly organised within client Google Drive folders and linked to relevant Teamwork projects
Essential Requirements
- 5+ years of SEO experience
- Proven experience using Google Search Console
- Agency experience is essential, ideally across multiple concurrent clients
