Senior SD EDI Developer Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior SD EDI Developer Consultant with strong technical and functional expertise in EDI and SAP SD. The consultant will lead end-to-end EDI integration solutions, support SAP S/4HANA environments, and work closely with business teams, SAP teams, middleware teams, and external trading partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end EDI solution design aligned with business requirements and SAP best practices.
• Develop, configure, and support EDI integrations across SAP S/4HANA, middleware, and third-party systems.
• Work with ANSI X12, EDIFACT, IDoc, XML, and related EDI standards.
• Perform EDI mapping, transformation, validation, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Manage trading partner onboarding, connectivity setup, testing, certification, and production readiness.
• Support middleware platforms such as SAP Integration Suite/CPI, SAP PI/PO, and EDI translators.
• Monitor EDI message processing and troubleshoot integration failures, defects, and incidents.
• Establish monitoring, alerting, reconciliation, and data-validation processes.
• Collaborate with OTC, P2P, Logistics, Finance, and other functional teams.
• Document EDI mappings, interface catalogs, process flows, and support procedures.
• Support SIT, UAT, cutover, and go-live activities.
• Ensure EDI integrations meet security, audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive issue resolution and continuous improvement with business stakeholders and external partners.

Required Skills

• Strong SAP SD and EDI integration experience.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and IDocs.
• Strong knowledge of ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, and EDI mappings.
• Experience with SAP CPI/Integration Suite, PI/PO, or EDI translators.
• Trading partner onboarding and EDI certification experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and communication skills.
• Experience supporting end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) EDI processes.

Preferred

• Experience with multiple EDI trading partners and complex integrations.
• Experience with production support, monitoring, reconciliation, and incident management.
• Understanding of SAP SD business processes and integration touchpoints.
