Description
Experienced S/4HANA Finance consultant needed to support customer with the configuration and implementation of incremental (delta) processing and archival for their Central Finance (CFIN) Month-End Close (MEC) process.
Required Skills and Experience
- Hands-on SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI) consulting experience with a focus on period end close
- Deep expertise in foreign currency valuation (transaction FAGL_FCV), including normal runs, reset/reversal processing, and variant configuration
- Direct experience implementing incremental/delta processing for currency revaluation in a CFIN or S/4HANA environment -- familiarity with SAP Note 3641501 is required
- Experience with FAGL_BSBW_HISTRY table management, including archival configuration and performance tuning
- Ability to work in a complex multi-entity CFIN landscape (500+ company codes) with established customer-side teams and existing Capgemini SI resources
- Strong configuration documentation skills; ability to work independently with remote delivery
