Summary: The Senior SAP Data Migration Consultant will work remotely on a long-term contract, focusing on the 3M Polaris deployment. This role involves defining requirements, documenting functional designs, and converting data from legacy systems into SAP. The consultant will collaborate with various teams to ensure data integrity and support data validation processes throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define requirements and document functional design for data conversion from legacy systems into SAP.
- Document requirements and mapping/transformation rules.
- Collaborate with technical teams to implement solutions that meet business requirements.
- Identify and resolve data defects in collaboration with business and SAP functional teams.
- Support data loads and validate data through test and production load cycles.
Key Skills:
- Experience with the data conversion life cycle, specifically from legacy (non-SAP) systems into SAP.
- Proficient in requirements gathering and documentation.
- Able to perform basic querying and data validation using SQL and Excel.
- Capable of analyzing data issues and collaborating with developers and business users for resolution.
- Experience with data cleansing and driving data quality.
- Preferred experience in Materials Management.
- Highly preferred experience with the 3M Polaris (SAP deployment) program.

Job Description:
Work with client to define the requirements and document the functional design to convert data from legacy systems into SAP. Document requirements and mapping/transformation rules. Work with the technical team to implement the solution and ensure the solution meets business requirements. Work with business, SAP functional teams, and technical team to identify and resolve data defects. Support data loads and validation of data through test and production load cycles.

Must have experience with the data conversion life cycle. Converting data from legacy (non-SAP) systems into SAP
Experience with requirements gathering & documentation
Able to do basic querying and data validation using SQL and Excel
Capable of analyzing data issues with the assigned subject area and work with developers, process teams, and business users to identify the root cause and drive resolution.
Experience with data cleansing: driving data quality in collaboration with business and IT
Experience with Materials Management preferred.
Experience with 3M Polaris (SAP deployment) program highly preferred.
