***Senior SAP BTP Solution Architect ***Remote***

Summary: The Senior SAP BTP Solution Architect will lead the strategy, design, and delivery of an S/4HANA Cloud implementation project, focusing on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Integration Suite. This hands-on role involves owning the end-to-end integration architecture and guiding teams through the integration process. The architect will also be responsible for developing reusable accelerators and ensuring secure connections across various systems. The position requires extensive experience in integration architecture and SAP BTP Integration Suite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Integration Architecture Leadership: Design and govern integrations across complex multi-system landscapes (S/4HANA public & on-prem, SAP Sales Cloud, Ariba/CIM, Concur, PLM, 3PL/WMS, e-commerce/marketplaces, banks, tax, payments).
• Pattern Development: Establish and oversee patterns for API-led (A2X OData/SOAP), B2B/EDI (X12 over AS2/SFTP/VAN), and secure file interfaces (SFTP/PGP).
• Build & Review Artifacts: Develop and review iFlows, API proxies/policies, mappings, schemas, and error-handling logic in Integration Suite.
• Workshops & Documentation: Lead integration assessments, interface catalogs, dependency maps, sequence diagrams, and produce Integration Architecture Documents (IAD) and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
• Security & Connectivity: Implement and maintain secure connections via Cloud Connector/Private Link, OAuth2/mTLS/JWT, principal propagation, certificate rotation, and network allowlists.
• Environment & Transport Management: Plan BTP subaccounts, CI/CD pipelines, Transport Management Service, Git-based flow versioning, and automated quality gates.

Functional Integration Experience:

• Order-to-Cash: e-commerce and marketplace integrations, orders, acknowledgments, fulfillment/ASN, invoicing, inventory/price sync.
• Finance: Bank file formats (CAMT, BAI2, EDI), lockbox, payment gateways, tax engine integrations.
• Source-to-Pay/AP: Ariba Business Network CIM S/4 integrations, vendor onboarding.
• CRM & PLM: SAP Sales Cloud, Windchill/Teamcenter material & BOM change flows.
• Travel & HR: Concur finance postings, payroll/time file integrations.

Required Experience:

• 10 12+ years in integration, with 3 5+ years architecting on SAP BTP Integration Suite (Cloud Foundry).
• Proven S/4HANA Public Cloud integration experience, including A2X APIs, IDoc/BAPI, OData v2/v4, SOAP, and CDS.
• Strong B2B/EDI skills (X12, AS2, SFTP).
• Expertise in secure integration design (OAuth2, mTLS, PGP, principal propagation) and connectivity tools (Cloud Connector, Private Link).
• Technical proficiency in Groovy/JavaScript scripting for iFlows, XSLT, JSON/XML transformations, API policy design, and CI/CD with Git.
• Architectural leadership in blueprinting, sequence diagrams, non-functional requirements, capacity planning, and run book creation.
• Strong consultative skills able to run workshops, align IT/business, document clearly, mentor developers, and de-risk go-lives.

Nice to Have:

• SAP Business Network, SAP Sales Cloud, and Concur packaged content experience.
• Event-driven architecture (Event Mesh, AEM) and microservice patterns.
• Experience with SAP Cloud ALM/Focused Run, observability pipelines, and functional monitoring.
