Summary: The Senior SAP ABAP, Fiori/UI5, and OpenText Developer will work remotely, contributing to the development and support of SAP solutions for the State of North Carolina. This role involves designing and implementing custom SAP code, developing Fiori/UI5 applications, and collaborating with various teams to maintain a robust production environment. The candidate will also be responsible for utilizing their expertise in OpenText and SAP technologies to meet business requirements. Close coordination with business departments and technical teams is essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement solutions writing custom SAP code using ABAP, Web Dynpro, and JAVA code with SAP HANA.
- Design, develop, and implement SAP Fiori/UI5 applications using HTML5, XML, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5.
- Develop SAP OData Models using SAP Gateway Service builder and CDS Views.
- Develop SAP Fiori/UI5 apps using SAP Web IDE consuming Gateway OData/Restful APIs, JSON services, and Git.
- Extend, customize, and implement SAP Fiori standard components.
- Support UX Discovery and Design Thinking workshops with customers.
- Work with SAP Fiori Elements and SAP Annotations.
- Utilize SAP Cloud Platform and Fiori Architecture on Cloud and On-Premise deployments.
- Manage Fiori Launchpad Designer, Catalogs, Groups, and Portal.
- Use ABAP Development tools in Eclipse environment.
- Debug using Chrome/Edge debuggers.
- Develop using SAP BSP and SAP Business Application Studio.
- Engage in Mobile App development including SAP Fiori for iOS/Android.
- Administer OpenText Administration Client and Microsoft SQL Server configuration.
- Install and configure OpenText Enterprise Scan and Imaging Windows Viewer client-side software.
- Customize projects for OpenText Doculink for SAP Solutions.
- Configure and develop OpenText/SAP related components.
Key Skills:
- Proficient in ABAP, Web Dynpro, and JAVA with SAP HANA.
- Experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 application development.
- Knowledge of SAP OData Models and Gateway Service builder.
- Familiarity with HTML5, XML, JavaScript, CSS, and Git.

Job Description:
**The candidate will work remotely unless the decision is that all staff return to work onsite. At that time the candidate will also be expected to work onsite.
***The candidate will need to use his or her own computer unless he or she starts working onsite. If the candidate is working full time onsite he or she will be given NCDOT equipment.
NCDOT s environment services over 6,000 users and includes instances of ECC, CRM, BI, Business Objects, Enterprise Portal, Solution Manager, GRC, NWCE, PI, BTP and OpenText document management. This position plays a key role in establishing, executing and supporting our corporate strategy for SAP development. Maintaining a sound production environment for development initiatives while at the same time participating in multiple projects with varying degrees of complexity is key.
This role requires close collaboration and coordination with the Business departments, EBS Development team, EBS Basis team, EBS Functional team, EBS Operations Services and Support team, Network Engineers and Enterprise Architects.
