Summary: The Senior Salesforce Developer role focuses on custom programming and development within the Salesforce platform, specifically utilizing Apex and Lightning components (LWC/AURA). The position requires extensive experience in Salesforce technologies and involves collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver solutions. The developer will also mentor junior team members and ensure adherence to best practices in Salesforce development. This is a fully remote position, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Custom programming using Apex, Salesforce Lightning components (AURA/LWC), and JavaScript.
- Develop Lightning components and maintain fluency with Apex and Salesforce query languages (SOQL and SOSL).
- Support the Product Owner in gathering requirements and providing solution options.
- Oversee the architecture of the Salesforce Platform and integrations.
- Develop and configure solutions using Salesforce functionality and components.
- Review technical implementations and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with junior developers for code reviews and feedback.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Mentor development team members and participate in code reviews.
- Participate in the full application life cycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving defects during project delivery.
- Collaborate with various team members to solve complex integration issues.
Key Skills:
- 10+ years of programming experience with Salesforce platform, specifically LWC and Apex.
- Experience with SLDS, Visualforce, Triggers, Batch classes, SOQL, SOSL, and declarative tools.
- 3+ years of experience leading custom solutions on Salesforce platform in Lightning.
- Extensive understanding of Salesforce best practices, architecture, and security model.
- Working knowledge of complex business systems integration and object-oriented design patterns.
- Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud development.
- Familiarity with Salesforce IDE and version control configurations (Github, BitBucket).
- Strong communication skills and ability to multitask between projects.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD and Copado.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
- Experience in developing Web Services (SOAP and REST).
- Experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks.

Security Clearance Level: Candidate must be willing and able to obtain a CMS Public Trust clearance.

Please Note:
Candidates must be available to work M-F 9AM-5PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) and will be expected to actively attend and participate in DAILY meetings. If they cannot attend daily meetings, they cannot take this position.
This full-time position is 100% remote. Candidates may need to work off-hours for deployment support, but this will be pre-arranged.
Candidates must have the willingness and ability to obtain a CMS Public Trust after starting.
