Senior Ruby on Rails Developer

Senior Ruby on Rails Developer | Remote (UK) | B2B Contract

We're partnering with a fast-growing London-based product company to find an experienced Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join their engineering team on a remote, B2B contract basis.

This is a great opportunity to work on a mature, well-tested Rails codebase with a collaborative, product-focused team, fully remote with occasional access to a London office if desired.

What you'll be doing:

• Building and maintaining core product features in Ruby on Rails
• Working closely with product and design to ship iteratively
• Writing clean, well-tested code (RSpec)
• Contributing to code reviews and technical decisions
• Helping improve performance, scalability, and architecture as the platform grows

What we're looking for:

• Strong commercial experience with Ruby on Rails (4+ years)
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and API design
• Experience with background job processing (Sidekiq or similar)
• Comfortable working in an agile, fast-paced environment
• Based in the UK, able to contract via a limited company (B2B/outside IR35)

Contract details:

Remote-first (UK-based) B2B contract, outside IR35

Initial contract length: 12 months, likely to extend
