Summary: Senior Ruby Developer position available for a remote contract lasting 4 months, focusing on enterprise web applications and AI-enabled solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain enterprise Ruby on Rails applications.
- Build new features and enhance existing production systems.
- Develop and deploy APIs.
- Troubleshoot, resolve bugs and deliver continuous improvements.
- Contribute to AI-powered functionality, including LLM integrations, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and document processing workflows.
- Support the full software development lifecycle from requirements through to deployment and ongoing support.
Key Skills:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or similar.
- Experience in enterprise software development experience.
- Experience in commercial Ruby on Rails development.
- Proven API development experience.
- Experience with BDD/TDD methodologies.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Git and UNIX/Linux environments.
- Experience with AI-enabled software development or LLM integration is highly desirable.
