Summary: The Senior Reporting Analyst role involves delivering high-quality management information for a leading UK insurance services organization. This fully remote position requires expertise in complex reporting, stakeholder engagement, and mentoring junior analysts. The analyst will work closely with senior leadership on high-profile reporting initiatives and drive process improvements. The contract is for an initial period of three months with a possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver new reports and datasets to agreed specifications
- Enhance and maintain existing MI reports
- Develop new reporting to support business analysis
- Perform ad-hoc reporting and deep-dive analysis
- Document datasets and reporting processes to best practice standards
- Identify reporting issues and drive process improvements
- Produce clear written documentation and present findings to stakeholders
- Attend internal and external client meetings
- Support and mentor reporting analysts
- Collaborate with Technical Leads on reporting and data projects
Key Skills:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, VBA) - essential
- Power BI experience advantageous
- Working knowledge of SQL preferred
- Experience with Qlik and Business Objects (essential)
- Insurance or financial services reporting experience desirable
- Strong analytical mindset and complex problem-solving ability

An experienced Senior Reporting Analyst is required to join a high-performing Client Reporting function, responsible for delivering high-quality management information to both clients and internal stakeholders. This is a hands-on role covering complex reporting, stakeholder engagement, and mentoring of junior analysts, with exposure to senior leadership and high-profile reporting initiatives.
