Senior QA Engineer – GIS & Utilities

Introduction

Results-driven Senior QA Engineer with over 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Test Automation, and Software Validation, specializing in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and the Utilities domain.

This role involves testing enterprise GIS applications using ESRI technologies, including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online (AGOL), ArcGIS Server, and Utility Network.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans for enterprise GIS and utility applications.
• Validate GIS spatial data, map services, feature services, and geoprocessing workflows.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and database testing.
• Automate regression suites using Selenium and Python/Java.
• Test Utility Network migration, asset management, work management, and outage management workflows.
• Verify GIS integrations with enterprise systems such as SAP, Maximo, OMS, and CIS.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and GIS analysts to resolve defects and improve application quality.
• Support UAT, production deployments, and post-release validation.
