Summary: The Senior QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test suites for mobile and API integration layers, ensuring high-quality standards across the software development lifecycle. This role involves collaboration with engineering, product, and platform teams to enhance test coverage and automation maturity. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in QA engineering, particularly in automation, and will contribute to a quality-first culture within the organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for mobile (iOS/Android) and API integration layers using Appium and Playwright/Selenium.
- Perform rigorous functional and manual testing across complex B2B and B2C eCommerce workflows.
- Build and own robust mobile test automation frameworks using Appium with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Champion quality standards across the full software development lifecycle.
- Manage test planning, execution, and defect tracking in JIRA and related test management tooling.
- Partner with product and platform teams to define test strategies for new features and integrations.
- Identify gaps in test coverage and drive continuous improvement across functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Contribute to a quality-first culture where engineers take pride in shipping with confidence.
