Summary: The Software Quality Assurance Analyst role focuses on QA Automation with a strong emphasis on utilizing tools such as Selenium, Java, and API Testing to support enterprise applications for the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare. The position requires extensive experience in developing automated testing frameworks and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines. The analyst will also be responsible for executing various types of testing and collaborating with development teams to ensure software quality. This role is remote and seeks a candidate with a robust background in software quality assurance and automation testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
- Build reusable automated regression test suites.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, UAT, and production validation testing.
- Manage and maintain test case repositories.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
- Improve testing efficiency using AI-powered testing tools and intelligent automation.
- Perform API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI, and GraphQL.
- Execute performance and load testing using JMeter, Gatling, or K6.
- Support Dockerized test execution and Selenium Grid environments.
- Analyze automated test results and generate reporting dashboards.
- Perform defect tracking, root cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams.
- Develop and maintain QA standards, best practices, and testing procedures.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Validate software releases to ensure compliance with business and technical requirements.

- 6+ years of Software Quality Assurance and Automation Testing experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Test Automation Frameworks.
- Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver, Selenium Grid, Java, JUnit/TestNG, and Jenkins.
- Experience implementing automation frameworks from scratch.
- Strong API Testing experience using Postman, Rest Assured, and SoapUI.
- Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, OAuth2, and JWT.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
