Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Python in production environments
- Advanced experience with Django and Django REST Framework (DRF)
- Strong knowledge of REST API development and integration
- Experience with pytest, Django TestCase, APIClient, fixtures/factories, mocking, and code coverage
- Strong understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and integration testing
- Experience designing APIs with versioning, pagination, idempotency, validation, and error handling
- Experience creating OpenAPI/Swagger documentation
- Strong experience integrating REST APIs with enterprise platforms
- Experience with Git, GitLab, GitLab API, and GitLab CI/CD
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
- Experience with Ansible and YAML-based automation
- Understanding of network automation and Cisco networking environments
- Knowledge of VLANs, IP addressing, prefixes, VRFs, network devices, and provisioning workflows
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and declarative configuration
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles including SOLID, DRY, separation of concerns, clean architecture, and refactoring
