Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and contribute to key projects, including sports taxonomy enrichment, AI initiatives, and content/data personalization.
  • Work closely with product managers and engineers to plan, execute, and deliver on the product roadmap.
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of backend services, proactively monitoring and resolving issues.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable Python code, adhering to best practices and design patterns.
  • Build and optimize server-side APIs for performance, scalability, and security, leveraging containerization and AWS infrastructure.
  • Participate in code reviews, mentor team members, and foster a collaborative, remote-first work environment.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, independent execution, and excellent communication in a distributed team setting.
  • Bring 8+ years of backend development experience (Python, APIs, CI/CD), exposure to AI technologies, and a passion for sports tech innovation.
