Our client seeks a Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead complex, cross-functional technology initiatives within DevOps organizations on a contract basis. The role drives delivery across digital platforms and process optimization from planning through deployment and stabilization. The individual will coordinate engineering, product, internal finance partners, vendors, and executive leadership to align on delivery goals. The role requires clear communication, governance discipline, and organizational leadership in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies and serve as main point of contact for sprint activities, velocity tracking, and cross-team dependencies.
  • Translate business requirements for technical partners and communicate technical constraints to business stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage dependencies and capacity constraints to keep projects on track.
  • Anticipate roadblocks and implement real-time solutions.
  • Partner with Product Management to prioritize and maintain the product backlog with clear acceptance criteria, definition of ready, and definition of done.
  • Oversee ticket refinement to ensure work items are actionable and measurable for capacity and velocity per sprint and program increment.
  • Lead enterprise-scale digital initiatives from initiation through post-launch stabilization.
  • Manage cross-functional programs with engineering teams, third-party partners, and internal clients.
  • Develop and maintain detailed plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and delivery roadmaps.
  • Coordinate multiple concurrent workstreams across internal teams and vendors.
  • Maintain PMO governance standards, frameworks, status reporting, and change management processes.
  • Drive portfolio transparency with executive dashboards, planning reports, and milestone tracking.
  • Facilitate risk identification, mitigation planning, escalation management, and dependency coordination.
  • Serve as liaison among business leadership, technology teams, vendors, and stakeholders, leading status reviews and decision forums.
  • Translate technical initiatives into business-aligned outcomes and actionable plans, building alignment across product, engineering, and operations.
  • Coordinate deployment planning, migration sequencing, operational readiness, and stabilization activities.
  • Support Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies as required.
  • Demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication.

Experience Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years in digital project management for consumer-facing products.
  • Background supporting media, entertainment, sports, or consumer technology organizations.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery models.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise with Jira and Asana, and familiarity with Agile/CSM, Lean, and planning tools.
  • Proven management of cross-functional teams in fast-paced enterprise environments.
  • Executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Attention to detail with ability to lead multiple sub-projects concurrently.
  • Experience developing requirement roadmaps and aligning teams on digital transformation efforts and best practices.
