Summary: The Technology & Change Programme Manager will oversee a portfolio of technology and change initiatives within a major retail organization, focusing on digital transformation. This role involves leading multiple projects across applications, infrastructure, and security, while ensuring alignment with strategic goals and stakeholder engagement. The position is contract-based, requiring strong governance and risk management skills to drive successful outcomes for over 30,000 end users. The role is remote with quarterly meetings in Manchester and is classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading delivery of multiple technology and change programmes across applications, infrastructure, and core business systems.
- Driving large-scale digital transformation, modernisation, and refresh programmes.
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to align delivery with strategic goals.
- Building strong governance, reporting, and risk management processes.
- Ensuring benefits realisation and long-term adoption across the business.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience managing large-scale technology and business change projects.
- Strong background in both applications and infrastructure delivery.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at all levels.
- Deep understanding of digital transformation in complex organisations.
- Retail or consumer-facing experience would be a plus (but not essential).
