Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage large, complex IT projects from initiation through completion
- Apply Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and XP
- Support and drive Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL) activities, including Stage 2 and Stage 3
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and resources
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business teams, and technical teams
- Ensure compliance with California state project governance standards
- Provide status reporting, risk mitigation, and executive communication

Key Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in IT Project Management

Required Qualifications

Valid PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification
California PAL Experience (MANDATORY):
Minimum 1 year of experience supporting PAL process
Hands-on experience with Stage 2 and Stage 3
Experience on large/complex IT projects ($5M+, 1+ year duration)
Education:
Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Programming, or related field
(Equivalent experience may substitute for degree)
Preferred Skills
Experience working with California State agencies, such as California Department of Technology
