Rate: 500- 550 Inside IR35
Dates: Start 3rd of Feb, 3 months initially
Location: Mainly remote, some travel to offices. Ideally candidates will be based in Manchester or London

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Lead in designing and implementing delivery frameworks aligned with government guidelines (Teal Book).
• Use Microsoft Project Planner (essential) to manage and track project schedules.
• Oversee workstreams across the full project lifecycle to ensure objectives are met.
• Support project planning, risk identification, and progress monitoring.
• Collaborate with teams and stakeholders, acting as a key link to the Project Lead.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and best practices.
• Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and required adjustments.

Key skills

• Experience with government projects and public sector frameworks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project Planner for scheduling and tracking.
• Strong knowledge of full project lifecycles (waterfall environment, not agile).
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Familiarity with Teal Book and industry guidelines.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Project management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) are a plus.
