Summary: Roc Search Tech is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a 9-month contract with a FinTech client in London, focusing on an offshore banking project. The role involves leading the pre-project phase for a new FX platform, ensuring all foundational elements are documented and understood. The position requires engagement with various stakeholders and compliance with regulatory requirements. The role is remote with some travel to the client site in London for the first three months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the discovery of "to-be" plans, governance frameworks, RAID logs, comms plan, delivery roadmap
- Potential Tax implications of booking and settling FX transactions
- KYC and CDD requirements for onboarding customers in different jurisdictions, considering local and Group requirements
- Income reporting and impacts on the banks P&L and balance sheet
- Local regulatory notifications and permissions required to offer regulated products to banking customers, along with other regulatory considerations
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights and validate assumptions
- Produce clear, concise documentation and recommendations to support go/no-go decisions
- Work closely with compliance, finance, legal, and technology teams to ensure all aspects are considered

We are seeking a highly experienced, results-driven contract Project Manager to lead the pre-project phase of a strategic initiative assessing the viability of a new FX platform for our clients banking client. This role is critical in shaping the direction of the project and ensuring all foundational elements are clearly understood and documented.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the discovery of "to-be" plans, governance frameworks, RAID logs, comms plan, delivery roadmap
* Potential Tax implications of booking and settling FX transactions
