Summary
The project goal is the automate processes with an established State vendor utilizing their cloud application. The project objective is to automate receipt, processing, and payment of claims submitted by providers for services rendered to the population. This position is expected to liaise with a vendor project manager and ensure all standard project documentation are completed and all standard project processes are followed. The State's project management professional is expected to ensure all project deliverables are met according to the requirements by holding all project stakeholders and resources accountable, and supporting the State's interests by ensuring the agreed upon deliverables are provided in accordance with State and DHSS standards and policies. The project's requirements have been documented, but those requirements are approximately 2-3 years old. This project will establish project governance and communications with the impacted State organizations, refresh and validate previously documented requirements, support configuration and design of the cloud solution, conduct implementation and evaluate effectiveness of the implementation through the burn-in period (sometimes known as the warranty period). A successful candidate providing project management expertise will have the following: Fiscal process background, project management certifications, Health Information Technology (HIT) knowledge, and experience with implementation of successful Information Technology projects.
