Senior Project Lead (Contract)

Summary: Egen is seeking a Senior Project Lead to enhance their Engagement team, focusing on managing large-scale IT transformation projects. The role involves overseeing project execution from planning to closure, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate will leverage their project management expertise to drive successful outcomes and innovate processes. This position is remote and classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and elevate needs for new or changed resourcing of new projects.
• Perform scope and requirements analysis, participate in SOW authoring.
• Contribute to and help manage SOW redlines, driving to close with SDLs.
• Partner with account teams, ensuring they have the information needed for success.
• Assist with back-end project preparation and execution administration.
• Initiate project work with team members, creating kickoff materials.
• Create and manage project plans, communicating them to stakeholders.
• Manage customer expectations on project timelines.
• Partner with customer teams and project leadership.
• Take meeting minutes and run meetings.
• Create project status reports and review with internal teams.
• Manage day-to-day project activities and escalate changes in scope.
• Research and prepare change request requirements as needed.
• Run agile ceremonies and manage project work through tools.
• Identify and escalate risks and issues proactively.
• Articulate scope and expectations to team members.
• Partner effectively with other teams and innovate project management processes.
• Be a knowledgeable source for agile practices and philosophies.
• Build relationships with clients and manage communication with stakeholders.

Key Skills:

• 3-5 years of experience in managing medium to large-scale projects.
• Experience in professional services or client delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a technology-related field.
• Experience working within product companies and consultancies.
• Systematic and logical thinking with technical skills.
• Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Trained in project management and agile disciplines.
• Background in engineering, software architecture, or delivery.
• Process-oriented with a focus on organization and delivery.
• Proactive learner striving for improvement.
