Summary: The Senior Product Manager role is a 12-month maternity cover contract focused on leading product vision and execution at a HealthTech start-up dedicated to transforming women's healthcare through AI. The position requires collaboration with various teams and managing the full product lifecycle while ensuring high-quality delivery. The role is remote with occasional meetings in South West England or London. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in start-up environments and a strong background in product management within HealthTech.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the CEO to own and execute the product vision.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, technology, clinical, and commercial teams.
- Manage the full product lifecycle, from ideation and specification to release and scaling.
- Maintain a clear, prioritised product backlog with well-defined user stories.
- Guide the engineering team, track performance metrics, and optimise development processes.
- Define and monitor key product metrics, leveraging data to drive improvements.
- Conduct user research through surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
- Oversee QA and software release processes, ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to inform strategy.
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience in start-up environments.
- HealthTech experience is desirable.
- A product leader with a track record of taking products from 0-1.
- Ability to conduct user research, build trust, and create an environment where users feel comfortable sharing their experiences.
- Hands-on experience building and analysing dashboards to drive user engagement and retention.
- Ability to translate data insights into actionable product strategies.
- Experience leading agile engineering teams.
- QA testing and software releases.
- Exceptional communicator, able to bridge the gap between teams and stakeholders.
