Senior / Principal Data Platform Architect

Position Overview

We are recruiting a Senior / Principal Data Platform Architect. This is a 100% Remote leadership role. You will be responsible for defining the high-level architecture of our data platforms, assessing structural systemic issues, establishing engineering standards, and providing technical leadership across our data remediation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities & Abilities

• Assess recurring DQCI root causes to address deep-seated, systemic platform vulnerabilities.
• Evaluate and optimize Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) ingestion and transformation architectures.
• Recommend high-impact platform architectural improvements that proactively mitigate future incidents.
• Establish unified engineering standards, design patterns, and platform best practices.
• Provide technical direction and leadership across all data remediation and data engineering initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 8+ years of technical leadership/architecture experience for the Senior track, or 10+ years of proven enterprise-scale blueprinting for the Principal track.
• Architectural Mastery: Elite architectural expertise in Snowflake, Matillion, and Talend ecosystems.
• Data Modeling: Expert-level enterprise data modeling capabilities.
• Integration Patterns: Proven experience implementing robust, modern integration patterns.
• Data Governance: Strong understanding of technical Metadata & Lineage frameworks.
• Optimization: Deep understanding of Platform Performance Optimization for enterprise cloud architectures.
