Senior Power BI Developer

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Power BI Developer to support two key initiatives within an established enterprise Power BI environment:

• Redesign and modernization of executive Finance/P&L reporting solutions
• Design and implementation of practical Microsoft Copilot use cases within Power BI

Key Responsibilities

• Redesign and modernize existing Finance and P&L Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Build polished, executive-level Power BI pages using standard Power BI visuals.
• Apply advanced data visualization techniques to present complex financial information in a clear, intuitive, and actionable manner.
• Develop and optimize complex DAX calculations and measures.
• Design and optimize Power Query transformations and semantic models.
• Work with calculation groups, complex relationships, and enterprise-scale data models.
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS).
• Analyze and optimize Power BI model performance, usability, governance, and scalability.
• Assess business requirements and identify practical Microsoft Copilot use cases within Power BI.
• Design and implement production-ready Copilot and AI-enabled Power BI solutions.
• Enhance existing semantic models to support effective AI and Copilot functionality.
• Partner with Finance executives, business stakeholders, and technical teams to translate business requirements into production-ready Power BI solutions.
• Improve executive adoption and overall reporting experience through intuitive dashboard and report design.
