Key Responsibilities:
- Scale Python microservices & distributed jobs.
- Productionise research code and data flows.
- Build/operate pipelines (Airflow/Prefect/Kubeflow/Celery).
- Design for reliability (queues, rate limiting, back-pressure).
- Ship well-tested code (typing, Pydantic, integration/contract tests).
Key Skills:
- Strong Python in production (type hints, async).
- SQL + SQLAlchemy; performance tuning.
- Microservices deployment & scaling (Kubernetes or managed).
- Orchestration experience (Airflow/Prefect/Kubeflow/Celery).
- Distributed systems know-how.
- Nice to have: ML/serving (MLflow/SageMaker), computer vision, streaming/“real-time” data, clear communication, ability to own a workstream.
