Summary: The Senior PeopleSoft HCM Functional Consultant for CAPPS HR/Payroll will leverage extensive experience in PeopleSoft and Texas state policies to support and enhance HR and payroll systems for state agencies. The role requires deep technical expertise and a strong understanding of federal labor laws, security best practices, and project management. The consultant will be responsible for system configuration, incident management, and compliance reporting while collaborating with various stakeholders. This position is remote, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform PeopleSoft system configuration changes and provide Tier-2 production support.
- Develop strategic roadmaps and lead cross-functional initiatives for CAPPS HR/Payroll.
- Handle Priority 1 and Priority 2 incidents and manage Major Incident Management (MIM).
- Prepare executive-level presentations and support audits and open records requests.
- Conduct requirements gathering, UAT, regression testing, and quality assurance.
- Support ACA/1095-C reporting and IRS compliance.
- Utilize ServiceNow and BOSSDesk for incident management.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide agency training.
