Summary: We are seeking a Senior PeopleSoft Financials Developer to support a high-impact ERP migration from legacy .NET systems. This role will focus on analyzing legacy applications, performing complex data migrations, and developing solutions within a PeopleSoft Financials environment. The ideal candidate should possess strong PeopleTools expertise and experience with Oracle databases, contributing to a critical modernization initiative in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft Financials applications
- Analyze and enhance ERP systems, including coding, testing, and debugging
- Reverse-engineer legacy .NET applications to extract business logic and data
- Execute complex data migrations from legacy systems to PeopleSoft
- Develop and support integrations within the ERP environment
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Participate in full SDLC activities (design, development, testing, deployment)
- Support project deliverables across different phases, including occasional off-hours work
Key Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in ERP or enterprise application development
- Strong experience with PeopleSoft Financials and PeopleTools (8.58+)
- Hands-on experience with Oracle databases
- Ability to read and interpret .NET code (C#, VB.NET)
- Experience with SQL Server and stored procedures
- Experience supporting data migration or system conversion efforts
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience with PeopleTools 8.59+
- Experience working in public sector / government environments
- Familiarity with CAPPS Financials
- Experience with Jira or similar tools
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
