Summary: The Senior Pensions Administrator role involves managing complex client and member communications, administering pension scheme activities, and ensuring compliance with UK pensions legislation. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex client and member communications via letter, email, and telephone, providing clear and accurate responses to queries
- Administer pension scheme activities in line with scheme rules, performing complex calculations, processing data, and handling member and scheme events using both automated and manual systems
- Ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance by conducting checking activities, monitoring MI reporting, and resolving errors, omissions, and complaints within agreed procedures and timescales
- Support project delivery and financial performance by monitoring project income, ensuring work is delivered on plan and within budget, and collaborating with management on progress tracking
- Drive continuous improvement and revenue growth by staying current with technical and legislative developments, identifying additional client opportunities, and scoping and costing extra work
Key Skills:
- Extensive Defined Contribution (DC) and Defined Benefit (DB) pensions experience
- Advanced capability in performing and peer reviewing complex pension calculations
- In-depth understanding of UK pensions legislation and regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills
- Proven experience liaising with clients and trustees
