Summary: The role of Senior Penetration Tester involves conducting penetration tests within a Cyber Security Team for a public sector client, requiring SC Security Clearance. The position is fully remote with occasional client visits to specific locations in the UK. The candidate will also be responsible for mentoring team members and transferring knowledge. This is an outside IR35 contract for a duration of 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct penetration testing for public sector and critical national infrastructure systems and networks.
- Mentor team members and facilitate knowledge transfer.
- Work within an SC Security Cleared environment.
- Occasionally visit clients in Manchester or Newcastle upon-Tyne.
Key Skills:
- CSTL or CSTM certification (NCSC) is essential.
- Experience in penetration testing public sector or critical national infrastructure systems.
- Familiarity with Azure and AWS.
- Experience with on-prem infrastructure, containers, and Kubernetes.
- Excellent communication skills with coaching and training experience.

Working within the Cyber Security Team, you will be responsible for Pen Testing as well as mentoring, knowledge transfer to team members.

Previous experience of penetration testing public sector or critical national infrastructure (CNI) systems and networks.
