Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle Developer & Database Administrator (DBA) to support and maintain mission-critical enterprise database environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle database administration, advanced PL/SQL development, and cloud initiatives within AWS and Red Hat Linux environments. This role requires a strong technical leader who can ensure high availability and optimize database performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and database objects.
  • Provide Level 2/Level 3 production support and troubleshoot critical database-related issues.
  • Perform data analysis, data corrections, and issue resolution activities.
  • Administer Oracle databases including installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, backup, and recovery processes.
  • Design and implement materialized views and performance optimization strategies.
  • Support database migration initiatives across on-premise environments, AWS platforms, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
  • Monitor database health and proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
  • Manage database security, user access, and permission administration.
  • Execute deployment activities, release management, and post-deployment validation tasks.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to maintain system reliability and operational excellence.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and recommend preventive solutions for recurring issues.
