Senior Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Administrator

Summary: The Senior Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Administrator will enhance and support the OCI environment by conducting audits, strengthening security, and designing scalable cloud foundations. This role requires a deep understanding of OCI best practices and collaboration with various teams to ensure compliance and operational excellence. The position is a long-term contract and is fully remote. The consultant will also have the opportunity to implement advanced features such as CI/CD pipelines and API Gateway architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a comprehensive OCI audit covering current environment setup, IAM permissions, policies, and security posture.
• Design and implement an OCI Landing Zone following Oracle best practices.
• Define, design, and implement OCI IAM policies.
• Design and enhance OCI RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) models.
• Recommend and implement governance and security improvements across OCI environments.
• Collaborate with cloud, security, and platform teams to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
• Design and implement OCI API Gateway architecture (nice-to-have).
• Setup CI/CD pipelines and Terraform-based infrastructure automation (nice-to-have).
• Integrate OCI Logging with Azure Sentinel for centralized monitoring and security analytics (nice-to-have).

Key Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience as an OCI Administrator.
• Deep expertise in OCI IAM, Policies, RBAC, and Security.
• Proven experience with OCI Landing Zone design.
• Solid understanding of cloud governance, auditing, and compliance.
• Preferred skills include OCI API Gateway, Terraform for OCI, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud logging and SIEM integrations (Azure Sentinel preferred).
