Summary: The City is seeking a full-time Senior Oracle Apex Developer to enhance a financial application that supports key revenue streams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle SQL and Oracle Apex, focusing on the integration of data for the Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning system. This role requires a strong background in developing and maintaining custom Oracle applications and optimizing performance. The position is remote and classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gathering requirements and developing browser-based applications using Oracle Apex.
  • Designing and maintaining custom Oracle applications.
  • Developing scripts in SQL and PL/SQL for data conversion and migration.
  • Creating External Tables, Joins, Indexes, and sequences; writing ad-hoc SQL queries and shell scripts.
  • Optimizing query performance and tuning PL/SQL using various tools and techniques.
  • Debugging complex applications and remediating defects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creating dynamic reports within the Oracle APEX environment using reporting tools.
  • Leading groups to gather requirements, define solutions, and remediate defects.
