Summary: We are looking for a Senior OpenText Migration Consultant with extensive experience in OpenText Archive Center and a proven track record of managing version upgrades from 21.4 to 25.4. The candidate will lead end-to-end migration initiatives, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime during large-scale data migrations. Strong hands-on experience with SAP Archive Link integration is essential for this role. The position is fully remote and contract-based.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze existing OpenText landscape, including Archive Center and Content Server
  • Assess data volume, archive structures, and metadata
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and downtime windows
  • Define migration approach (side-by-side vs in-place)
  • Perform OpenText Archive Center migrations (21.4 to 25.4)
  • Handle infrastructure setup, database migration, and system configuration
  • Execute data migration across storage platforms/environments (on-prem to cloud if applicable)
  • Ensure data integrity, validation, and reconciliation
  • Configure and support SAP Archive Link integration
  • Work with SAP ILM, VIM, and related document management processes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve migration and integration issues
  • Plan and execute cutover activities with minimal business disruption
  • Perform post-migration validation and performance tuning
  • Provide documentation and knowledge transfer

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will independently lead end-to-end migration initiatives, including planning, infrastructure setup, database migration, and cutover execution.

This role requires strong hands-on experience with SAP Archive Link integration and the ability to manage large-scale (TB-level) data migrations while ensuring data integrity, compliance, and minimal downtime.
