Summary: The Senior OpenText Consultant is responsible for providing operational support for various OpenText and SAP systems, ensuring smooth functionality and compliance with security standards. This role involves troubleshooting, user administration, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions. The consultant will also communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and support environments serving U.S. Government clients. Strong expertise in OpenText Content Server and related modules is essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing operational support for SAP Business Content, Business Workspace, OpenText Content Management (CE 24.4), Archive Center, Core Capture, and associated modules
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for OpenText users, resolving issues and offering process guidance to ensure smooth system usage
  • Monitor system health and performance, including document workflows, SAP OpenText background jobs, archiving processes, and Core Capture activities
  • Administer user access, roles, and permissions while ensuring adherence to security policies and compliance standards
  • Demonstrate strong expertise in OpenText Content Server, Archive Center, and integrated components
  • Support and maintain integrations with SAP systems, including Extended ECM, VIM, SAP Archiving, and Core Capture solutions
  • Collaborate with SAP and OpenText support teams, particularly within cloud and private cloud environments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve document management issues across key business functions such as Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance, and security requirements, especially for government-related workloads
  • Clearly communicate technical concepts and procedures to non-technical stakeholders
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including SAP, Cloud Engineering, and Business Process Owners to deliver effective solutions
  • Develop and maintain documentation, provide user training, and facilitate knowledge transfer sessions
  • Proactively communicate system issues, risks, and updates in a structured and timely manner
  • Support OpenText environments serving U.S. Government clients, ensuring compliance with data residency, access control, and security mandates

Key Skills:
