Summary: The role of Senior Microsoft Infrastructure Engineer involves providing urgent BAU infrastructure support for a client while a team member transitions to a wider project. Key Skills:
- Strong BAU infrastructure support experience.
- Microsoft 365.
- Azure / Entra ID.
- Active Directory / Group Policy.
- Intune / MECM / SCCM.
- Windows Server.
- VMware / Hyper-V.
- Citrix, SQL, backups, or MFT experience would be useful.
- Confident troubleshooting and stakeholder communication.

Experis are supporting a client with an urgent short-term contract requirement for a Senior Microsoft Infrastructure Engineer to provide BAU infrastructure support while a member of their internal team moves onto a wider project. The client needs someone who can start on 1st July, pick things up quickly and provide confident hands-on support across a broad Microsoft infrastructure environment.
The Role You'll be supporting BAU infrastructure activity across Microsoft cloud, EUC, server and core infrastructure services. This is not a project delivery role, the focus is keeping BAU moving, resolving issues, supporting users and internal IT teams, and helping maintain service stability.
