Summary: Our client, a leader in SaaS software development, is seeking a contract Senior Legal Tech & AI Integration Engineer for a 100% remote role. The position focuses on architecting the next generation of the Legal Operations ecosystem, integrating dynamic data for legal AI tools using the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This critical role reports to the Director of Finance & Legal Systems and is essential for modernizing the professional services billing lifecycle. The contract duration is 6 months with potential extensions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect the next generation of the Legal Operations ecosystem.
- Create a dynamic, real-time context layer for Legal AI tools using the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Harvest contextualized data records from systems and applications for legal analysis and insights.
- Collaborate with the Director of Finance & Legal Systems to modernize the professional services billing lifecycle.
Key Skills:
- Deep Integration Expertise: Advanced knowledge of REST APIs, Webhooks, and Event-Driven Architecture.
- AI Protocol Fluency: Hands-on experience or deep technical understanding of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and its implementation (TypeScript/Python SDKs).
- SaaS Ecosystem Knowledge: Proficiency in Salesforce, including SOQL/SOSL and complex custom objects.
- Experience with Ironclad API and Workflow Designer data structures.
- Experience extracting intent signals and firmographic data via Gong/ZoomInfo API.
- Proficiency in TypeScript or Node.js and experience with Jira for sprint-based delivery.
- Familiarity with Google Gemini for LLM, Agent Space, Claude, and Harvey AI.
- Experience with enterprise tools such as Slack, GSuite, Atlassian Suite, Snowflake, and Databrics.
- Knowledge of legal tools like Harvey, SimpleLegal, Logikcull, and Airtable.

We are looking for a Senior Integration Engineer to architect the next generation of our Legal Operations ecosystem. This role is at the intersection of Enterprise SaaS and Agentic AI. You will be responsible for moving beyond static data syncing to creating a dynamic, real-time context layer for our Legal AI tools using the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
Your primary focus will be to harvest contextualized data records coming from our systems and applications and integrate into a common platform for legal analysis and insights.
This position reports to our Director, Finance & Legal Systems, and is a critical hire as we modernize our professional services billing lifecycle.
Contract duration: 6 months (+extensions)
