Summary: The Senior Tableau Developer role involves leading the development of data visualizations and reports for the Texas Workforce Commission. Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze data from various source systems and database technologies using SQL.
  • Design, develop, and validate reports, data visualizations, and dashboards using Tableau.
  • Build and publish customized interactive reports and dashboards.
  • Schedule reporting using Tableau server.
  • Create action filters, parameters, and calculated sets for dashboards and worksheets in Tableau.
  • Develop Tableau workbooks from multiple data sources using Data Blending.
  • Publish reports using Tableau.
  • Gather, analyze, and generate data visualization requirements for a data warehouse.
  • Work on a data warehouse team (both relational and dimensional).
  • Translate requirements into data visualization needs.
  • Mentor and train junior Tableau developers.

12 Years of Analyzing data from a variety of source systems and different database technologies using SQL.

7 Years of Designing, developing and validating reports, data visualization and dashboards using Tableau.
