Senior Lead Google Cloud Platform Citrix DaaS Architect/Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Senior/Lead Google Cloud Platform – Citrix DaaS Architect/Engineer to lead the design and implementation of an enterprise Citrix DaaS environment hosted on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Google Cloud architecture and engineering, along with proven expertise in Citrix DaaS or Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops within enterprise production environments.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and optimizing the complete Citrix environment while ensuring high availability, scalability, and operational excellence.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-scale Citrix DaaS solutions on Google Cloud.
• Build and integrate Google Cloud Platform Landing Zones with Shared VPC architecture.
• Configure hybrid networking between cloud and on-premises environments.
• Design and manage IAM, Active Directory, and Windows infrastructure.
• Deploy and manage Citrix Resource Locations and Cloud Connectors.
• Configure Machine Creation Services (MCS) and image lifecycle management.
• Implement security best practices across Google Cloud Platform and Citrix environments.
• Develop automation for infrastructure provisioning and operational tasks.
• Configure monitoring, alerting, logging, and performance optimization.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability and cost efficiency.
• Design and validate Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies.
• Produce detailed architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
• Perform hands-on implementation, validation, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer to operations teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong experience with Google Cloud enterprise architecture.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Citrix DaaS/CVAD deployments.
• Expertise in Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Experience with enterprise networking and hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell/Terraform preferred).
• Experience with enterprise monitoring and cloud security best practices.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
