Senior Java Spring Boot Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Spring Boot Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, REST APIs, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying scalable, high-performance enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java 8/11/17/21 and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain microservices-based applications using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Develop secure and scalable RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party systems.
• Implement database operations using Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, SQL, and relational databases.
• Work with messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Implement authentication and authorization using Spring Security, OAuth 2.0, and JWT.
• Develop unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, and Testcontainers.
• Deploy and manage applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize application performance.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, Agile ceremonies, and solution design.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA engineers, and cross-functional development teams.

Required Technical Skills

• Core Java: Strong knowledge of OOP, Collections, Multithreading, Concurrency, Streams, and Exception Handling.
• Spring Framework: Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Cloud.
• Microservices: Hands-on experience designing and implementing distributed systems.
• API Development: REST APIs, JSON, OpenAPI/Swagger, and API integration.
• ORM: Hibernate and JPA.
• Databases: Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL; experience with MongoDB is a plus.
• Messaging: Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Testing: JUnit 5, Mockito, and integration testing.
• DevOps: Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Cloud: AWS or Azure experience.
• Methodology: Agile/Scrum and CI/CD practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building high-volume, distributed enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of caching technologies such as Redis.
• Experience with application monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
• Familiarity with design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean code practices.
• Experience with performance tuning, scalability, and secure application development.
