RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a remote Senior Java Developer to join their team. Ideally, this candidate has around 4-7+ years of experience.
Summary:
This app is built with a React frontend and Java/Springboot backend (but is majority a backend application). This is also all hosted in Google Cloud Platform and we use Cassandra as a database. The majority of the work is going to be heavier backend (about 60-70%), however, the work can change, so any React knowledge is a plus. The Senior Java Developer will also need to be able to write their own unit tests and have knowledge of TDD along with Agile. Lastly, communication is number one and they heavily prioritize their culture.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 4-7 years of Java 8/11/14/17+ experience
* Expertise in Springboot
* Expertise in Cloud (Google Cloud Platform preferred)
* Ability to write unit test and focus on clean code
* Combination of SQL/NoSQL database experience (they use Cassandra)
* Strong desire to work in a fast paced agile environment and learn/collaborate with a well-balanced team
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
