Senior Java Developer 

Java - Python - JBoss - AWS

Initial 3 Month Contract (Likely scope for 12+ Months)

Start date: 2nd of December 

450-475 per day Outside IR35

Fully Remote - Must be based in the UK 

Our exclusive Digital transformation partner is looking to engage with an experienced Senior / Lead Java Developer to add value to a long term, high-profile program of works.

You'll be joining the team at the discovery / proof of concept phase therefore this is a great opportunity to be part of the founding team and make an genuine impact.

You'll be working on a large Government program therefore Public sector, defence or government experience would be preferred, although not essential.

Highly experienced in Java development 

Ideally experience in Python development although we can accept good knowledge of Python

Good level of experience in JBoss EAP

Experienced in AWS

Experience working in an Agile environment

Must have excellent communication skills

Must have excellent customer facing/engagement skills

Must have experience working in a team set up, with a consultative, helpful approach

Leadership experience and the ability to mentor and bring on other engineers is highly desirable
