Senior Java Developer

Summary: The Senior Java Developer role involves working with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced, data-driven environment at an early-stage startup. Key Responsibilities:

• Build robust core microservices for finance platform features, including dashboards and ETL pipelines.
• Design scalable API gateways and establish foundational infrastructure for data management.
• Configure tools for authentication, monitoring, caching, and billing to ensure platform reliability.
• Optimize front-end performance and mobile responsiveness.
• Drive feature implementation from concept to production using Java, React, and database management.
• Apply appropriate database models and architecture for system components.
• Work with application monitoring tools, authentication frameworks, and payment infrastructure.
• Create intuitive and responsive interfaces for users.

Key Skills:

• Strong experience with Java, React, and database management (MySQL, Redis, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with Open Banking and Aggregated Data.
• Track record in designing scalable microservices and APIs in cloud-native environments, preferably Google Cloud.
• Understanding of various database models and architecture.
• Experience with application monitoring tools and authentication frameworks.
• Solid understanding of mobile back-end development.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
