Summary: The role of Informatica Developer requires a seasoned professional with over 12 years of experience in analyzing and optimizing ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter. The position is fully remote and focuses on data flow tracing, understanding dependencies, and utilizing tools for data lineage tracking. The candidate will also be responsible for creating documentation and modifying existing ETL processes. Strong data modeling knowledge is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong experience in analyzing existing Informatica PowerCenter mappings, workflows, sessions
• Ability to trace data flow from the source tables all the way to target tables and vice a versa
• Understanding dependencies between different ETL processes and their impact
• Experience with Informatica metadata manager, enterprise data catalog or similar tools to track data lineage
• Ability to understand data mapping documents
• Experience with Informatica session logs
• Working knowledge of scheduling tools such as Zena or similar
• Strong understanding of data modeling, fact/dimension tables
• Experience in creating documentation for data lineage, data movement through various transformations
• Ability to analyze, modify, optimize existing ETL processes within PowerCenter
