Summary: We are seeking a proactive and self-driven Senior People Advisor to join a fast-paced IT organisation on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role involves taking ownership of the full employee lifecycle and providing strategic and operational HR support during a period of growth and transformation. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR, particularly within the IT sector, and will be responsible for delivering expert advice and managing employee relations. This position is remote and offers a competitive salary based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert advice across all areas of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding
- Support line managers with HR best practices, policies, and employee engagement initiatives
- Manage complex employee relations cases with professionalism and confidentiality
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to drive HR projects and continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in a Senior People Advisor or similar HR generalist role, ideally within the IT or tech sector
- Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and deliver results in a fast-moving environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent is preferred
