In the capacity of Senior Google Cloud Platform Architect / Engineer, you will direct the enablement of new Google Cloud Platform services across the PwC network. This position functions as a pivotal technical pillar, balancing workload requirements across service enablement and solution development. Furthermore, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and enforcing comprehensive security frameworks to ensure Google Cloud Platform environments align with PwC's organizational compliance, access controls, and governance protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert, providing specialized oversight, architecture reviews, and technical guidance for complex cloud initiatives that require hands-on senior engineering.
- Security Architecture: Design and deploy security control frameworks (org policies), identity management (IAM), data encryption, key management, and security telemetry for Google Cloud Platform adoption.
- Service Enablement: Drive technical delivery and architecture for both service enablement and customer support.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and securing enterprise-scale architectures on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform native security tools (Cloud IAM, Firewall Rules, KMS, Organization Policies, Security Command Center, Secret Manager, and VPC Service Controls).
Strong understanding of hybrid cloud connectivity, shared VPC design, zero-trust network access, and regional network management.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications: Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud Architect or Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud Security Engineer
Experience working within global professional services networks or highly regulated multi-tenant cloud environments.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD security integration.
Strong stakeholder management skills with a proven track record of enabling business units to adopt cloud technologies securely.
Minimum Education: HS Diploma
