Summary: The role is for a Senior Flutter Engineer on a 6-month contract, focused on developing mobile applications for the banking and commercial lending sector. The position requires collaboration with various teams to deliver high-quality front-end experiences using Flutter. The engineer will be responsible for writing maintainable code and ensuring application performance and responsiveness. This role is remote and classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of mobile applications using Flutter for iOS and Android.
- Collaborate with Back End engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver intuitive and robust user experiences.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and technical design discussions.
- Integrate APIs and work with Real Time data in a secure environment.
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience building and deploying apps using Flutter/Dart.
- Strong portfolio of mobile applications delivered to production.
- Experience in financial services, banking, or commercial lending platforms.
- Solid understanding of state management, navigation, and responsive UI design in Flutter.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, authentication flows, and data handling.
- Understanding of app life cycle, offline storage, and performance optimization.
- Experience working in agile teams and CI/CD pipelines.
