Summary: The role of Senior Frontend Developer involves working with a technology-led business to develop a next-generation data and intelligence platform. The position requires expertise in building modern web applications that visualize complex data and integrate with a Python/FastAPI backend. This is a 6-month remote contract, with a focus on clean and maintainable code. The role offers an opportunity to significantly impact both product and technical decisions within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain responsive frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs (FastAPI, SQLModel, PostgreSQL).
  • Optimise performance and scalability of frontend components for complex data workloads.
  • Implement clean, reusable UI components and modern design patterns.
  • Work closely with product and data teams to deliver user-friendly data visualisations.

Key Skills:

  • Strong commercial experience with React and TypeScript.
  • Experience deploying and managing applications in AWS.
  • Strong understanding of API integration and data flow between backend and frontend.
  • Solid grasp of SQL and data handling within the UI.
  • Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library).
  • (Bonus) Familiarity with data visualisation libraries.
  • (Bonus) Previous experience in data-heavy systems or B2B SaaS.

Salary (Rate): £450 p/day

Senior Frontend Developer | 6 Month Contract (OIR35) | Remote, UK based

I'm working with a growing technology-led business that's scaling its engineering team and looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to help deliver a next-generation data and intelligence platform.

You'll play a key role in building performant, modern web applications that visualise complex data and integrate seamlessly with a Python/FastAPI backend. The team values clean, reliable, and maintainable code - so this is a great opportunity to make an impact in both product and technical decision

Location: Remote (UK)

Contract: 6 Months (likely extension)

Rate: £350-450 p/day

Start: ASAP
