Summary: The role of Interim Senior Finance Officer involves managing day-to-day financial operations for a local government client on a fully remote basis. Job Opportunity – Interim Senior Finance Officer – Fully Remote

One of my local Government clients are currently on the lookout for a Senior Finance Officer to join their team on a fully remote basis.

Interim Senior Finance Officer

Contract Length: 3-6 Months

Pay Rate: DOE

Days: X5 p/w

Start Date: ASAP

Fully Remote

You will be expected to do the day to day tasks of getting the income/expenditure recorded into the general ledger in the right places e.g. data inputting, preparing income summaries, allocating banking income and payments to the finance systems, banking reconciliations etc.

You will also be managing a team of X3 Finance Officers (X1 Full time and X2 Part Time Officers).

Successful candidates will:

  • Have previous local government experience doing the duties listed above.
  • It is desired that your experience doing this has been in a local authority setting but the client are also willing to accept candidates who have worked for other local government organisations e.g. (Housing Associations, Fire Service, Police etc.).
  • Need to have previous experience managing a team of Finance Officers.
