Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the process for preparing consolidated NHS provider accounts, ensuring all deadlines are met to a high standard.
• Design, implement and oversee a robust control framework to ensure data quality, compliance, and consistency across all provider submissions.
• Review and challenge Trust submissions, proactively identifying errors, anomalies, and areas of risk before they impact consolidated reporting.
• Prepare high quality reports, briefing papers, and presentations for senior finance leadership and external stakeholders.

Key Skills:

• Full professional accountancy qualification (CCAB, CIMA) with substantial post–qualification experience.
• Deep understanding of NHS provider accounting and financial reporting frameworks, with prior experience leading consolidated accounts processes.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge constructively.
• Pro-active solution-focused approach, with exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
